Psalm 37:23-24(NIV)

chejackson:

23 The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives.
24 Though they stumble, they will never fall, for the Lord holds them by the hand.

A cute skincare set I got from Korea! When you finish using the product you can crack open the eggs (like the middle one) and use them as mini pots to plant seeds! Seeds are even provided haha how funny (Taken with instagram)

!

I missed this space!

sorry for not updating for such a long time, busy living the next dream now.

I’m back in Australia doing my postgrad in psychology, and so far the journey has been pretty.. challenging? to put it nicely.

i miss Korea up till this date, it’s been 2 months ever since, but the memories are still so fresh in my head. How to get to my favourite cafes, to my favourite shopping areas, to uni, to the jjimjjilbang, norebang..

ah, the heart is heavy!

and until now i haven’t finished uploading the memories into this blog, so i guess i will be more hardworking from now on!

well, just wanted to share with you the above picture which was a photo i took of all the FREE samples i collected in my short stint in korea! ALL FREE. amazing right? This was probably only half the stash i collected. This can probably supply you for a whole year. From etude house, face shop to innisfree.. to nature’s republic, hera and skin food :)

anyway, any of you guys have requests on what you want me to blog about? drop me a question! and I will try to be as informative and useful as possible to bring Korea a little bit closer to your hearts :)

Hello... how are you?! I would like to ask you some questions if that's ok? :) I want to study in Seoul university too, and I want to sign up for their summer program (regular program)! can high school student participate? and how much are the fees? I mean how much it costs to take part in the course? and are the girls/guys dorms separate? and one last thing... do they provide the plane tickets for me or we should travel to Korea on our own? Thank you and sorry for asking too many questions :D

Hey charmance :)

Definitely encourage you to pursue studies in SNU!

but if i’m not wrong you must be at least 18yrs old?

fees for regular program is about $1600sdg/aud for the 10 weeks regular and living expenses are about $600 a month including transport, food and doing touristy stuff!

yes the girls and guys on campus dorms are separate but everyone has a room mate and the room is small for 2 people. There is also a common toilet and everything’s shared. I lived on the off campus dorms and have my own bedroom, toilet and kitchenette but it costs about 3 to 4 times more but definitely worth it! I lived in Yewon Dormitory and I loved it there, location is awesome.

definitely no plane tickets provided, you would be expected to settle yourself so look out for cheap deals for flights whenever you know when you want to fly! I suggest going there 2 weeks to one month earlier before term starts to have fun because school is very full on, not as fun as people think studying Korean is. Stress will come but will go, consistent study is always the trick! :)

good luck! feel free to ask more qns!
